POST MBBS RANKS
Hello,
After completing my MBBS degree, my journey to secure a PG seat was filled with ups and downs, marked by various rankings and challenges. Here is a summary of my rankings during the pursuit of my PG seat over three years:
- Year 1: AIPGMEE - Rank 22,300. Although this rank wasn't as favorable as I had hoped, it motivated me to continue my pursuit of a clinical seat.
- Year 2: DNB Entrance - Rank 5,000. Despite achieving a decent rank, I faced the unfortunate circumstance of no available clinical seats, leading me to prepare again for the next opportunity.
- NEET PG: Due to the implementation of a new system and scoring based on prometric psychometric analysis, I secured a rank of 10,600. Despite feeling confident about my performance, the scoring system didn't favor me, creating another setback.
- DNB: Rank 2,800. Despite the improved rank, I still faced challenges in securing a clinical seat.
- State Exam: Although I scored decently, the low cutoff denied me an opportunity once again.
However, in my third year of preparation, my efforts began to bear fruit. I achieved remarkable rankings in various entrance exams, including:
- NEET PG: Rank 1,907 (AIR OC).
- COMED-K: Scored 99.
- TNPGMEE: Rank 601.
- DNB: Rank 700.
Finally, my perseverance and hard work paid off. I secured a clinical seat in my dream branch of general surgery at the prestigious Stanley Medical College.
Throughout this challenging journey, the unwavering support of my mentors, friends, and family played a crucial role in keeping me motivated. Their belief in me and my abilities pushed me to overcome obstacles and strive for excellence.
I am grateful for the opportunities that have come my way and look forward to embracing the challenges and learning experiences that lie ahead. I am excited to embark on this new chapter of my medical career and contribute to the field of general surgery.
Thank you for being a part of my journey, and I am eager to share future achievements and experiences with you all.
