JOURNEY POST MS-GENERAL SURGERY

After completing my MS in General Surgery, I faced some setbacks in my pursuit of a specialization in Urology. Soon after my exit exams, I attempted NEET SS 2017 but unfortunately did not qualify for the cutoff. Despite preparing well and performing exceptionally in my exit exams with a 67% score (ranking 7th in the university), I was disheartened by this outcome. Feeling depressed, I took a break from work for two months to reevaluate my path. Upon the insistence of my friends, I joined a nearby medical college as a senior resident after the break. Three months into the work, the notifications for DNB SS 2018 were released. Although I aspired to crack the DNB exam, I couldn't find sufficient time for solid preparation. This achievement boosted my morale to some extent. Soon after, a new notification regarding NEET SS 2018 wa...

POST MBBS RANKS

Hello,  After completing my MBBS degree, my journey to secure a PG seat was filled with ups and downs, marked by various rankings and challenges. Although this rank wasn't as favorable as I had hoped, it motivated me to continue my pursuit of a clinical seat. Year 2: DNB Entrance - Rank 5,000. Despite achieving a decent rank, I faced the unfortunate circumstance of no available clinical seats, leading me to prepare again for the next opportunity. NEET PG: Due to the implementation of a new system and scoring based on prometric psychometric analysis, I secured a rank of 10,600. Despite feeling confident about my performance, the scoring system didn't favor me, creating another setback. DNB: Rank 2,800. Despite the improved rank, I still faced challenges in securing a clinical seat. State Exam: Although I scored decently, the low cutoff denied me an opportunity onc...
